and to tell you the truth we used to get canadian coins all the time and we would toss them out as no one will take them here for money...LOL
i used to get mad because a store clerk would slip me one...LOL pennys and nickles are ok its the dimes and quarters we didnt take.
But i do like that fact that they are silver..

theres at least two silvers coins in there nice snag --the canadain 1919 dime and 1918 quarter --that just for thier silver content (melt value) alone is worth more than the $2 US you paid for all of them --- some folks (like me) like old english big penny's while on the whole their not greatly valuible for the most part ---their kind of neat

---your 1855 french cinco centime (5 cents) has napolean III --a decendent of the famous "emperor" napolean--- napolean III oddly had the honor of being both the first "president" and last "emperor" of france ---after being made the first president of france --- he was not happy with the fighting and bickering that occured and wanted more power so he could rule more as other "kings" of the past did ----- so he cause a coup to happen --- and he named himself "emperor" of france --later he was forced out of office ---but he lived thru it and was not killed off as many last "emperors" were after losing their power --

I save ALL CANADIAN COINS...I just like them....but at work...when I find them in the tills...I buy them and add to my collection. I now have an album of all my US Coins and one for all my Canadian Coins...and then I have one with a mixture of coins from other places in the world, either places I visited or coins I just find.

And if I can ever remember the combo to my safe...I have more in there LOL!

Keep 'em....
