Nice examples. I'm not much help in giving specific names on arrowheads. Some I've found out west look just like ones found on the east coast.

I would post then in the North American artifact section. Some pretty sharp collectors in there for identification. Nice points!

I don’t know anything about arrowheads…
But that first one is the cutest little arrowhead I’ve ever seen.

That tiny one is intriguing. Would that have been ornamental?

no, it is a later stage historic type, think 1800's, very common out west... a true "arrowhead"

Native Americans made bows and arrows of every size imaginable, the reasons for which are also many. But basically, the mechanics of the bow and arrow rely on a very specific balance of components regarding the size and strength of the bow, the spine (or stiffness) of the arrow shaft and the corresponding weight of the arrowhead.
As an example, in the Nevada desert the principal shaft material was phragmites and in drought years it didn't grow very big, so they had to make smaller, lighter points to match the spine of the shaft.

The small one is called a 'bird point' but they were not used to shoot birds.
