Found my first seated Dime

Today I found my first seated dime 1853. 2 mercs 1943,1917 D one IH and the rest wheatys.We went back to the place Bruce and went last weekend and Bruce had a Great hunt too he put it on me again.Ill let Bruce post his finds.Thanks for looking and Good luck on your next hunt.The Barber is a 1902 o.

My first was an 1853 also.


Keep doing what you're doing. First is always the hardest. Besides myself, the member of our team that has been detecting the longest still has not dug one. We're determined to get a Seated under his belt soon.

Nice find! I found my first half dime about 2 days ago. They are so tiny that can be easily skipped. I must have scanned the spot a trillion times because I couldn't tell if I was picking anything up or not. It was a pretty low vdi reading on my machine.
