I went out on Friday to look, but I was extremely overwhelmed. It also started raining when I was out. I went to a part of Mud Creek, but the water was so high. I don't think I quite understand how to creek hunt. I'll be going back in my hometown for the next week so I'm going to hunt around the fields there. I'm a lot more comfortable doing it on familiar grounds! Any suggestions or tips would be appreciated!

Marie.. go to high ground try to stay where you can see creeks or at least the trees along there banks. , you do not want to hunt lower ground if it looks like it may flood at high water.. walk in all most dry creek beds looking at gravel or sand bars, if dirt is showing like water washed some away at the bank look carefully tips ,ears or flacked edge of a point sticking out of dirt.. hear me telling you how to hunt creaks when i have not found a point yet in a creck bed.. lol T.
