Found...stuff..help id

Hunted a place with a lot of civil war history near seven pines. Found this stuff...any ideas?

small game leg trap anchor chain- and the two "J" hook shaped things are the 'trigger catch'(sear) to the trap- visable to the right of the round trigger with the 'V' in it, at 3 o'clock. I think those other things are; detector arm rest, two diggers, headphone cord and maybe car mats. Not sure @ that last one but the others I've seen. haha-just funnin HH. yelnif...

Yep! lot of coyote/fox hunting going on where SkinsFan is hunting too. Makes sense.... Wanna hear a awful story? I was digging into what I thought was a hut site and ended up digging this (photo below) I thought for about 10 seconds I dug something like a V (virginia buckle) with that V on it. About 20 seconds into the find it dawned on me it was a freaking Victor game trap! Boy I hate those things.

We covered a lot of ground and will go back. One particular hole that I dug had many small pieces of charcoal. It was not super deep, but appeared to be evidence of a fire of some type. I thought.nothing of it and moved on.

I did some research on your the "hut site." Unfortunately I did this after we left. Will have to head back and look some more.

The land (-over 100 acres) is out past the airport, east of Richmond and per the owner, was the site of a Union hospital. The house is still there.

Now I want to get back...
