I dug these two things out of the water today. The flat piece was dug out of a spring where the water comes out of the mountain., The circular oval piece was dug out of the creek. Any suggestions what they are? It's old farmland, with civil war history as well.

The flat piece is part of a plow blade and the oval piece is the end of a rigging gear.

Item #1 may be from an oxen yoke or a singletree.

Thx guys, makes sense, seeing this was a working farm. I also looked at a map from the Library of Congress website today., Civil War Soldiers marched right down the "road/trail" in front of my property.. Pretty cool.
