No such thing as junk on TN. It's junque!
But sometimes we do find "crappe' ". I saved iron for about a year and took it to scrap yard and got $60.00 for it. Worth the trip. But the price was up at the time. Call around and find out what they are paying. We have a steel mill here in town and that helps. Monty
P.S. If you want to find a wealth of iron and don't mind digging, check along a railroad line.

While scrap iron/steel is not worth a lot (last time I sold it was 11 cents a pound), it does add up. I save all scrap copper, aluminum, brass, and iron that I dig up and throw it 5 gallon buckets.
