I stopped at a pawnshop today but I've been meaning to check out but havent had the time. Stop by today all their half-dollars were $8, silver dollars or bouillon or $25 quarters were $5 and dimes were $3. So I think I got a pretty good deal on my half-dollar!! Just wanted to share.

I also bought a silver eagle for $25.

I agree, great price on the Stone Mountain! If that pawnshop prices early commemoratives the same as regular half dollars I would stop by often!

Not so great price on the ASE.

It's a good deal on the Stone Mountain coin, and anyone would be hard pressed to find a 2013 SAE for a flat $25 despite the current silver melt. The demand for SAE's is through the roof and is fueling their values higher than their melt value.

They had a good amout of silver eagles. All 2013. Guess it didn't matter, but I was happy with that. Funny how much silver you can't buy anymore when kids come along, ESP when they start eating like I do :)
