I found one of those a few years ago, feel for ya. Kind of a cruel reality when you realize. Haha glad I'm not the only one. Thanks for sharing.

Yes it did. I know you all can relate because of how these things look right out of the ground all oxidized full of salt deposits etc...You get that feeling that you may have found something then the let down after a closer inspection. Once I saw the "Copy" I decided to clean it up........Oh well....I'll keep at it. ;D
 
They are giving away fake spanish cobs, reales and other copies as apart of a special offer at Kellyco now. Detectorists probably get them then throw them on the beaches or whereever else they may hunt!
