Found today, is this anything?

Hi, I found this today near my home in southern Connecticut. Anyone have any idea if this is an artifact? It is 31 mm long, 20 mm across at the widest point and the base is about 12 mm wide. Thanks!

May I ask what about it makes you think its a artifact?

Well, if you hold it upright, it seems to have the broad shape of a contracting stemmed projectile point (appears less so when viewed horizontally as in the pictures above). That said, it is asymmetrical and I really have no idea if it is my imagination or if it's a point or knife of some sort. Appears to be either rhyolite or quartzite or some similar grainy material.
