We have been looking for this cannon for the last six months and found it about ten feet away from where we started. We got sidetracked by finding a couple hundred pieces of eight that took us in the other direction, but Thursday we came out and started again and after getting washed out Friday we made it back today and in the last hole we blew, there it was, just sitting there.

Please explain to us how a sublease works and do you share with the divers that work on your boat. I have never seen a post from you explaining that to the average Treasure Hunter so they know how the operation works.
like wise

Wow........... good to know the old girl is still giving up the goods.

a couple hundred peices of eight??!!! holy cow, dude. that's incredible. you truly are a treasure hunter. awesome!

Man, I have found cannonballs and cannonball shrapnel, but it is a very RARE instance for a person to say that he has found a CAN-NON!!!!!!!!!!! :o That is a great day and the moon must have been a dark shade of BLUE. ;) ;)

omg totally awesome..I have to follow this one.... that is absolutely divine and the underwater pictures are awesome..thank you so much for sharing.. WOW WOW WOW

Yeah, great dives and finds.....would LOVE to see pics of the coins!........

I guess I'm wondering.....If the cannon is only worth scrap iron prices would it be possible/ feasible to bring the cannon up, clean it up nice and sell it as a nice refurbished cannon?.......I know I wouldn't mind a cannon down in my basement bar..... ;D

HH all!

Greg

Awesome! I hope this means you have found "ground zero". Many more to ya.

Sweet find Scott, go get more…..

cannons are a bear to take care of and their $$$ value is not that great but to a few folks money wize --- however finding them is very important since it means that the main wreck site has been finally found often --- thus silver and gold await.
