in the frame the long narrow pieces are bone

in the second image the game pieces in my hand the piece on the left is sandstone and the piece on the right is scoria

Very nice Steve. You have found some killer pieces. Glad to see someone is finding something. I can't even find anyplace to hunt.

Dang tear it up! You know it takes me almost a year to find that many points. Great finds

As Usual, Very Fine stuff!

Way to GO Lars!

Dang boss you are the bone king !!!!! Outstanding frame !!!

Nice stuff Larson. The top bone piece looks like a snake effigy. The piece above the fish hooks looks like an effigy also. Any insight you can give us on those two? Nice finds!!

they are paint sticks.........'warrior sticks'

On the bottom pic is that an atlatl weight?

it is a weight for fishing with a line and a bone fish hook

The bone with the holes, is that a arrow shafts or what???

beautiful pieces, those indians made some awesome points over there.

hey hey monster

yup that is an arrow shaft wrench.......some had 3 or 4 holes in them.............the part of the shaft that needed straightening would be moistened and then heated....
then the shaft was immediately placed through the hole and pressure applied with the wrench and dipped in cold water to straighten
.....it seems like whenever we find one it is broke across one of the holes

Some really Great things Larson....as usual.

Awesome Finds!

We suspected that you had been sneaking out to the field, and are glad that you found some really rewarding artifacts. :notworthy:

You haven't posted a lot this past year and were worried that work was keeping you tied down.
