Would anyone be up for a hunt either the 5th or 6th of Oct? I have a lead on a place and want to check it out. I don't care to hunt alone so if someone wanted to join me that would be awesome. I planned on making an entire day out of it, so I also wanted to knock on a few doors as well.

What area do you have a lead on? Does the place have civil war action? May want to be careful that weekend because bow season for deer hunters starts that Saturday and I would hate for you to walk into the woods and disturb a hunter who has been in the woods since O dark thirty. Could make him/her very upset. May want to hunt on Sunday so you do not run into this problem. I try to stay out of the woods during deer season as much as possible unless I have full knowledge from the landowner that no hunters are allowed on his/her property. I still wear blaze orange during deer season when I am out in the fields. Some of those guys have itchy trigger fingers. Just a thought for you to consider.
