I set up my tripod in my back bedroom today, looking out the window and I saw this common sight around here in the winter. They would fly to whichever house's furnace had come on, then switch again when the one they were at would shut off, and go to the next one. These European Starlings are really smart to a degree. Some would actually get aphyxsiated by the Carbon Monoxide and fall in, to never be seen again, till you can't figure out why the smoke from your fireplace no longer goes up and out the chimney..........NGE
