It looks to have been attached to a necklace. The back reads Eugenie Emperatrice des Francais. Does anyone have an idea of age?

Wikipedia has an interesting column on "Eugenie Emperatrice des Francais", Eugenie wife of Napoleon III, Empress of France.
Could have been a medal to celebrate her marriage in 1853 to Napoleon III of France.

it was found metal detecting in the same area the half dime, pocket watch, and a flat button with backmark Lewis &Tomes were found on Wednesday.
