Found a 1895 Texas Fruit Palace badge. Fruit Palace Festival was held in 1895 and 1896 in Tyler Texas, the building burnt in 1903. Have found a coat lapel pin/badge and different type of fruit palace badge in Tyler previously

That's sweet! I found a badge from a Fireman's Celebration... similar to yours. Apparently these souvenir badges were big during the late 1800s and early 1900s. It probably hung from a ribbon or pin, like this one from the net.
