The thing that frustrates me the most is when i start digging a target and 15 people walk up behind my shoulder to see what i have found,Most times its only trash though,I dont dig the tingly feeling signals if there are alot of onlookers,Hate to dig my double eagle in front of 75 people whenever i find it. lol

steveouke .....know what you mean. I have been digging old tack, a few CW bullets, harmonica reeds, penny buttons and can't find any descent coins lately. Seems to just be a part of our wonderful hobby but on my worst streak ever as far as coins go. Makes you doubt your detector, but have been digging copper and brass at some pretty impressive depths especially in the turned fields. Common sense says if it will find a .22lr bullet at 6 or 7 inches and it gives strong audio and tight VDI lock a coin at those depths plus a few should be a given. The Coin Gods hate me so I hate them back. Don't ask if it helps.:nono:

I wont ask if it helps but,Does it hurt any?? lol, couldnt resist!

On a serious note,I know your pain man,My best finds in the last two months came from a coin machine cuz i want to play some arcade games lol.Go figure!!
You`ll have a dry spell and then all of a sudden you`ll get that tingly feeling tone and be on top of the game again,I think thats how it works for most all of us man.
