It is so smooth and stable in the trash its awesome, and fast!. Pro mode, zero notch, 30 iron, sensible sense as high as you can take, listen to it, listen for the mid and high pitch tones thru the iron, its a magic broom in the lawns and parks.

If you are taking it to a salt water beach remember that you have to ground balance it. Especially when you get to the wet sand by the water. In my area my AT-Pro ground balances in the wet sand at 11-14. I usually cut the sensitivity down 2-3 bars from max to keep it from getting all chatty. I would watch the videos on the Garrett site on salt water, and ground balancing one last time before going out.
Remember to dig everything 40 and over.

I am definitley a newbie but in roughly two months I've found an 1854 large cent, an 1894 Liberty nickle, two Indian heads (1898 and 1902), a Kennedy half, two silver quarters, two silver dimes, probably 30 or more clad coins and all sorts of misc. relics and junk. My buddy, using a 250 ace found a 1775 Spanish two reale about three feet from where I was looking. You'll love the Pro. I can't speak to other makes but I couldn't be more satisfied with the AT Pro.

Sounds like ur doin great Ive used alot of machines in my time of detecting I think.the pro can handle its own very well power of a high end in sheeps clothing a true sleeper hh

I go nuts waitin I end up driving around but staying close to the house looking for the truck only worked out 1,time thats when I was waiting for the v3i to come in. Soon buddy soon enough hey one great thing is least u dont have to wait when it comes in to charge it befor u can use it + there
