Gas pump? Error? Huh?!?!?

Can you enlighten us a bit on this post please? Are you asking a question or making a statement? Is it about the money or about gas pumps?

Apparently I'm missing something. :dontknow:

Misprinted Serial Number With A Low Digit | Sell Old Currency
Here is a website talking about Gas pump misprinted error. But I am not sure if mine count as gas pump error. Because on the wesite, that misprinted gas pump picture shows the last serial number moved down a little bit, but mine is moved up... So, I am just wondering... LOL

This reminds me of Jon Stewart in the movie Half Baked for some reason.

I have never heard the term "gas pump error", but understand what you are trying to point out. I do not know if the misaligned digit is sufficient to be called and error. If there is defined amount of misalignment that makes it an error, someone will chime in with a reference.

Good eye, though.

Coffee time over. Pass the additives.

Out of curiosity I looked in my wallet - all the numbers lined up.

So you may have errors there.

But don't worry. They are probably still worth full face value even being goofed up. ;-)

Perhaps more like Carvey doing "thats amazing!"

Is this what happens when one is snowed in Ohio?

I'm leaning that it's an error. They print paper money just like they would a newspaper and if the letters or numbers aren't seated properly it can be out of place. The value of such a find is questionable as one does not know how rare it is. Did it happen to a few or a few million?

Yes, sure. You can find them easy by exchange 100 dollar to 1 dollar small bill. I find them this way, lol. I meant hundreds
One dollar.
