Dowsing is hocus pocus alright for me. They say you have to have the "gift." I never met anyone that could really do it. :D

To answer your question, gold is mixed with other metals to make it harder, mainly nickel or other harder metal. Rose Gold is mixed with copper. It's still gold, only a lower percent.
