Out in the middle of nowhere I think I came across the remnants of a house, only a brick or two, and very few rocks. But two coppers, pipe pieces, and a thinmble tell the story.

Last find was a low ID number, and at first thought a piece of can slaw, straightened it out a bit, realized it was heavier than AL. Took out loupe. STERLING on the back. not much weight, but a cool little find (IMO).

Good stuff...cool little silver piece!

You did well Rick, great finds for sure. That spot should produce some more goodies I would say.

Nice looking copper as well as buttons of the period.

awesome hunt rick!

Nice Finds. The best foundations are the ones that aren't apparent. Congrats on the goodies :)

Terrific stuff. I found my first George II (halfpenny) this weekend. Oldest coin by far!

Definitely a home site there Rick, and an early one at that. Nice haul for your first trip there. Hit it hard, there might be a piece of Spanish lurking in there

Nice finds as always

Nice finds Rick, I really like the silver. Was it some sort of lapel pin or do you know?

Yes LF3, it was a pin of some sort. Part of the "iron" pin still remains.

Very cool finds, the copper is cool, the sterling maple leaves are really cool!!!

Great finds!! Nothing like finding old coins in a field!!

Nice going on the finds, the copper is in pretty good shape.
