Getting Closer?

Went back to the new field "with potential" but once again time was not on my side. I only had another 90 minutes and spent 15 of those chatting with one of the neighbors...valuable resource. I stuck to a small area but still have not got right onto the site. I did find another mystery wreath thing and a couple buckles. Also found a gilt flat button and a pewter spoon frag which confirms there is some age here and I'm (hopefully) getting closer. More on the weekend I hope.

Can't wait to see you hit paydirt.

On the way back from the field today I got permission for another site that I've been watching...another 17th century site where the foundation is still visible. The hay just came off today so I'll be trying that one this weekend.
