Yesterday, a retired United Methodist minister and his wife came over to our house to see the artifacts that I have found this year. They both collected artifacts for many years. The wife brought me this blade. She said she had bought it from an old man in Franklin County, Illinois, where she grew up, who was selling off his collection. She said that she had had it for 50 years. It does have minor damage. They have thousands of artifacts that they collected over many years.


I was blown away with this gift.
