I had to review this thread to be certain I hadn't responded before. It's been around a while. I found this tiny point around 1998 while excavating a wetlands pond. After using an earth pan to remove topsoil, I was looking for artifacts the following day, and this point was on a small ridge of freshly disturbed black soil and sparkled like a diamond from probably 20 feet away. It's actually brighter pink than the photo shows.

Rginn that one is interesting if it wasn’t an arrowhead I’d say it was side tanged knife… being a point I have to assume it’s just a fluke in the notching but it’s got me thinking of other reasons it was made that way

Here are mine. I suspect (without having gone through all the comments) that points are found whole more often in the west, but I could be wrong. Not bad for an east-coaster! Oy. the pic exploded.

Didn't think about that but it does resemble one. Could be the guy was going to add another one on the other side, but didn't get it done. Or when the point was mounted on the arrow shaft with the two base notches it didn't quite feel like it was secure enough so he added another one. Outside of that, we can say it was 'ceremonial', haha!
