pretty birds! We don't get Evening Grosbeaks here, I would love to see one. And aren't the little ones Pine Siskins? I recognize the house finch.. nice pictures!

Great photo's Ron, really :icon_thumleft:. What are the birds, species wise, we don't seem to have them over here as far as I can tell. Some look a little bit like our house sparrow and the others (with the big beaks) are similar to our hawfinch :dontknow:

I'm not sure but think they are all in the Finch family.

Hammered and NG,

The bigger yellow ones are Evening Grosbeaks, and the others are house finches and pine siskins. The pine siskins look very similar to the female house finches, but only about half the size.

Good eye Tuberale,
I notice in the 2nd pic down about the same location as the Junco, a Dove is peeking over the woodpile.
