Put in a few hours PM today.

Not quite sure what some of the bits are, but I do know the Gold coin is Queen Victoria half sovereign 1892, the silver coin is possible 1500 -1600, it is very worn on the head side. Big coin is a penny of George the third 1760-1820.

Thanks for looking

WOW, way to go. I am so jealous. If you only knew how much research I do looking for sites that might have some activity from 1800's back.

Noticed you MD with your ring on too, dude, I hunt at the beach all the time. Leave that ring at home!!!!

I have a ring on each finger & I bet my recovery time is as quick as you

I miss understood, you were pointing out he may lose it ::) Which of course happens in the sea as your fingers shrink. Less of a problem in a ploughed field unless you have a ill fitting ring.

Thanks for your concern re. the ring.

The ring has been on the finger for 41 years and I doubt (?) if I could get it off if I tried.

Still once again thank you for pointing it out, it may just save one our fellow members from losing theirs at a future date.

That gold coin is simply amazing. Nothing like that here in Indiana, USA, but simply amazing. If I found something like that here, I would pee my pants.
