Well, I hate asking these types of questions. But without naming any specific locations. Does anyone know if Gold have ever been found in the North Texas area? Or surrounding Areas? I have a buddy of mine that finds it in Indiana, and when I do a general search on the internet, it’s pretty much a joke. Of course as competitive as it is (Like detecting) Im not asking Where , I just want to know if it is even a possibility.

Any help would be great.

Thanks!

Best gold I ever found in the DFW area was off of North-West Highway back in '79. Man was she sweet!

K River is good I go there all the time. There is gold in north Tx I have gotten it in Bowie and other places that I will keep to myself.Dont need anymore attention than we already get with 3 dredges lined up side by side.Remember Gold is where you find it.All the gold in Ok and Tx is mostly flour and -50 or less.

I have found gold in Llano River in Llano and Kingsland, but as stated mostly flour and very little flake.

Gold has been found in all 50 states. including north florida.
