Gold In The Creek behind the Methodist Church

Evening All, Yes i may have been quiet for a while but i been busy working a large site. The Methodist Church was in the main street of area which was once a small town in its own right. Boosted 3 hotels, bakery, foundry , quartz crushing battery and 16 gold mines. Numerous Other buildings and even a water channel fed swimming pool. This nice quartz specie with about 1 gram of gold in it came from a hunt along the dried up creek bed behind the Methodist Church.

What did ya use to find your stuff? Nice gold with that quartz by the way. Hoping to find some myself when my ankle heals up. Broke it detecting a creek bed. Lol

Great find on the gold there Tinpan, looks like you have the makings of a very good site. Have you located the area where the swimming hole was? That might be a glory hole right there for ya. Can you give us a little taste of the history of this place? How old is it? What was the population in it's hay day? You always paint a good picture of your sites and I can't wait to read your future posts and admire your new discoveries.
