This evening I went on a scouting trip to an old schoolhouse site located in the middle of nowhere. I was pretty excited when I could just barely see the stones from the original foundation. Didn't have much time tonight so just did a quick scan around, wasn't getting too many signals. After finding a few shotgun shells, I finally hit a nickel-tone and was hoping for an old nickel. Instead, out pops this nice looking pin. Would have been a beauty in its original condition. I will be back at this site tomorrow and hopefully can post some additional finds.

that's a nice find I like it!

Went back to the site this morning but struggled to find many targets. It appears to have been cleaned out pretty good but I will be back after some moisture gets in the ground. I did manage to find parts for an old clock and an old (early 1900's) Ponds Cold Cream Milkglass jar with the lid, good condition. The best part of today was locating two more home sites in the vicinity that I can check when the crops are out of the way. Thanks again for the comments.
