All Treasure Hunting
We have 2 choices of areas at the moment. Both very poor. Instead of carry on in the field we have been doing which is very overgrown & hard work we decided to try our only other option. We had scouted it once & only found a small area of rubbish & the odd modern coin. So decided to try this area out.

2 Hours into the hunt & only a few minutes of light left, Dad pulled out a 9ct Gold Ring with red stone. Can't work out if its 1864 or 1989. Its been widen at some point & I think it looks Victorian ;D

Other bits:
Lovat Scouts highland military button.
17th century button
2 Halfpennies
RSPCA Badge
Modern coins

Great digs as usuall Crusader, you and your Dad sure do have some great adventures together and that's worth more than anything you'll ever pull out of the ground!

It's wonderful that you and your Dad got out. . . I see he still has a few tricks up his sleeve :)

When we were all young, our parents would always be proud of us when we accomplished something now, as we all grow older, it's the other way around ;)

Take care & HH!

You probably know this, but for general information.
Birmingham mint mark = anchor, if imported = triangle.

Dave.

Big C, once again you and your dad come out smelling like a rose. Hunt in a trashed area and pull out a Victorian Gold Ring. Not to mention the coins....
Great hunt and thanks for the post!
