Gold rings so far this year

The year for gold so far started off slowly and didn't find my first ring until the end of March(had found five gold ear rings only). The 14k Pearl ring was my first ring of the year found at a school tot lot in Ohio(pearl is real as well). The 14k mans ring was found on a 30 minute hunt in Dayton area on a soccer field along with around a dollar in clad. The two small 10k rings were found close together at a Park playground and the 10k ring with diamonds was about the only good thing hunting sidewalks in a small Ohio town and the 10k "DAD" ring(fits my pinkie) was found at a local Park as well. These were found in short hunts in April(minus the March pearl). I also found a couple silver rings, but they are in a jar with all my silver jewelry finds without any pics!

Love that gold, Jack! In almost 2 years of hard hunting I've only found a few junk rings, not even a silver one. Of course, I'm probably walking over the gold as I tend to cherry pick the silver and oldies! FFD

It just depends on what your looking for...I cherry pick at times, but thats normally at a site for the first time and when I plan on going back!! But I have to admit, if I get a sweet nickel hit I do dig it!! I don't even want to think about the gold and 1/2 dimes/three cent pieces you are walking over!!

...told ya! Found it at a park that has had slim pickins'...funny thing was it was about 5 feet away from a newbies flap that still had the penny in it.

...told ya! Found it at a park that has had slim pickins'...funny thing was it was about 5 feet away from a newbies flap that still had the penny in it.

Nice ring, love finding that gold...always good to have that "feeling" and then find a goodie!!
