I have seen a couple of posts about people who had some finds in golf courses around IL. Does anyone know of any that allow hunting?

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't even say golf courses on here

not unless you have a metal detector that looks like a 3 wood

Sneaking into golf courses to hunt is a big no no and a sure way to get us all banned from lots of places. Now if you could find a long lost course from the turn of the century you might be on to something!

im always hunting for my ball lol

i think i get the big idea now :icon_thumright:

Gota look in the water trap to find my balls. The only time it went over is because the ball skipped.

Unless you can find one that was closed and the city bought the land to eventually build a water plant on (10 years down the road). My wife and I have been hunting with permission from the city Mayor and are finding some really nice stuff. Rick:coffee2:

I live on a golf course and my backyard backs up to a dogleg left par 4. If you can hit 375 yards off the tee and it slices right the ball will go into my swimming pool. I get about 4 balls a year in the pool. Anyway, I have found hundreds of coins on the course in the off season. I hunt only the rough and by the tee off areas. I think a lot of quarters have been dropped next to the beer carts over the years. The course was built in 1966 so I can still find a little silver but mostly clad. Happy hunting!
