Super condition for 1788 copper! if authentic you got a nice paycheck coming
I would keep that coin, unlikely you will find anything of that caliber again, you'll miss it. Tell us all about how & where you got it, Not polite to leave us hanging.

CWB I would be careful selling your coin if real because there are a lot of scam artists hoping things pop up on e-bay or something merry christmas and welcome to t-net krazyhorses

Was fortunate enough to recieve this 1787 as a gift
therefore I won't look this one in the mouth,
I will say it just doesn't have the 'Feel' of my 1788.
We wanna hear more details about your find!!!

your coin is identical to the 1788 half cent in my book also identical to 1788 cent in my book because i can not see what is in the shield i do not know if cent or half cent
