We built a new Multi-Sports complex that opened this summer. All of the kids league sports moved there. This afternoon I went to the old field where my grandson played flag football the previous couple of seasons and found that they had taken down the fence and removed the bleachers. I spent 2 hours working an area not more than 10' X 20' where one set of bleachers had been. Could not move the detector more than a few inches without a signal. Even the junk was good, because the bleachers were aluminum and most of what I found besides coins was the brackets and bolts that had fallen off, which were all also aluminum. No spectacular items, but I got about $4.00 in clad, 2 tokens, a couple of pieces of kiddie jewelry, and about 3# of scrap aluminum. Should have just sifted the area. There were 2 more sets of bleachers that I will check later.
