Long story short ...
Got another Gold ring yesterday...Good News
Dropped my XP Deus control unit (it's like an iPod in a black case) on the street and drove home. Bad News
Went back ...not there on the street...
Wrote note to put on the windshield of car parked there (maybe they picked it up) ...looked at grass curbside...It's there! GOOD NEWS! (and still works)
Well found the 14K ring with 12 diamonds in about 6" depth of wet sand with the PI machine (it still finds the Gold). Went back with the Deus to find some dry sand Gold........but none there.
