Goodbye Fall

Well it was nice, all three weeks of it. Went out lookin over the remains of the last snowstorm. Not a big deal really, but it did shut down a couple of passes and I-70 for a while. Found Elvis' campsite, I guess. Why anybody would park this fine vehicle out here in the middle of nowhere, no houses around, is beyond me. Maybe a repo man to dodge?

Nice pics RGINN, I managed to miss the worst of it. I went over I-70 yesterday morning. No chain laws in place, but enough slush and deicer to get my truck real dirty.

That is odd to find a limo there, maybe stranded...no chains? Did you check inside of it RGINN, to be sure "no one" was in there? Kind of scary maybe!

Beautiful views, especially the third one. The Beartooth Mountains got a dusting of snow the other day. As for the limo. maybe someone from the polar ear club was itching for a snow bath.

The only thing found was in the trunk. It was a call card that belonged to some fella J. R. Hoffa with the IBT, who ever that is

Another guy taking a GPS short cut I don't know about out there, but locally the GPS might show a road, but that doesn't mean it's an all weather maintained road. Over the past few years there have been several people stuck in the woods because they were taking a GPS short cut, and at least one died trying to walk out for help. Enjoyed the pictures.

I got those Atlas and Gazeteer maps for the whole states of Colorado and Oklahoma. Absolutely great, but they do not show locked gates. The wife bought me one of those GPS things for the truck a few years back and I agreed to give it a try. Many things wrong with that. I don't get lost, I look over new country, and it was just personally aggravating to me to have a female voice tellin me 'Turn right in 50ft.' Plus I couldn't program it right. The second time I used it, I was goin to the house here in Frisco, but she decided to go to Denver so I just kept quiet and let her go. Last I heard from the lady she was at Georgetown insistin I make a U-turn.
