Goose mountain by burney

Anybody ever prospect around here? Going camping at a small lake and was curious if the area is any good. Thanks all!

I am interested as well, the GF's parents have a cabin just outside Burney.

on google earth there are tailings on the creek north of 299. also a bunch of ponds on sp land that are from mining. the ponds are recently dug, maybe withing the last 5 years. burney creek looks good, but ive never tried it, always hunting, no time to prospect. the area im talking about is just a couple miles north and north west of the 299 89 intersection, dont know about margret lake?
