- went out again today before lunch and got a nice infantry cuff.. scroll down to reply 27 to see before and after
-then after lunch I went out and got buttons 3 & 4 from the site .. scroll to reply 30 to see totals

2 day totals: 1854 halfdime, (2) eagle infantry coat buttons, eagle infantry cuff button, general service eagle button, several fired bullets, 4 dropped .54s

Wandered into some woods today on a property I've hit in the past, just had never been anywhere but the fields. Check out the video I've never seen civil war stuff lying on top of the ground


Aside from a few fired bullets, these are the two finds.

I have found old coins on the surface alot over the yrs. Woods are a good area to get surface coins. I got a solid sterling pocket watch back on the surface sunday at a cellar hole site. I check everything.

That pocket watch back is a cool find.. Most of my woods hits are relatively shallow, but I've never kicked the leaves away and actually moved two CW targets in the action.. I've had a couple bullets in the past I was able to pluck out by hand, but were still a half inch down.
