Got a vintage wash stand

My co worker had no use for this he acquired from his old friend so he gave it to me. It looks early. I wiped it down really well it was filthy . It still has candle wax hardened down the candle holders by the mirror. My wife likes it and wants to put flowers in it and a towel on the rack.

I might take issue with the word vintage. When did they get plumbing out your way?


If you know anyone with a lathe they could probably make a handle for the other side.

Good idea Nathan ! I always liked repurposeing items and keeping them in original condition ! My wide and I have a lot of older items in our home that bring back fond memories !

it looks great.... but reminds me of ALL the CRAP that my kids are going to have to go through after I pass... I am thinking of just boxing up most of it and storing it in the barn.... treasure for them to find years from now....
