Well if you are going to become a legend in this hobby you have to be willing to think outside the box. (don't take that the wrong way as I continue here) This looks like a good starter project if I can keep the model focused on the project rather than on me---View attachment 1106389

A person really needs to plan ahead. If too many properties become off limits private property is going to be the best opportunity.
So taking many factors into consideration, such as who is most likely to need some repair work on their home done by an experienced person in the field, and where would that person most likely want to perform in exchange for the opportunity to detect, it can become apparent to me that this may be a worthwhile adventure.
I don't normally share this stuff,but I am feeling generous today.

I try not to drink much anymore. With a short temper anyway drinking doesn't work well and I don't wanna do something stupid and end up knocking up a girlfriend! Luckily my girlfriend is fixed and I don't have to worry about that just as long as she would slow down on the drinking everyone would be peachy. I can see myself having many children if she wasn't fixed with her drinking and all thank god the poor ex husband saw what happened after nights of drinking with him and he caught on 4 kids later and said whhhhhoooaaaahhhh nelly

Funny u say that cause I am 6'01" 220 pounds of killer machine he forgets how many times I had his back when he was getting his but whooped at the sheriffs office cause of his tender 5'4" 130 frame I'll just say " hey this gay dude can't help you or I might break a nail". I see nothing wrong in Pinterest dad was your size gollum and that's all he did on his free time was get on Pinterest looking at self reliance stuff, detecting stuff, hunting and fishing, and camping so yea even big straight men can like that type of stuff.

Funny you say THAT! HAHAHA The guy at work that would call me gay for playing around is about 5'6 140 pounds. There is a little more to my reply, but this is a family friendly forum. It had to do with If I had wanted to give him some prison lovin' did he think there was anything he could do about it? HAHAHa

Which would be considered 'more gay', knitting or crocheting? I used to crochet. I don't remember anybody calling me gay about it; but that was over 50 years ago. Today might be different. I'd hate to get into a brawl with someone at my age and with my health conditions! Might have to defend my honor, but might die trying! lol

I love Pinterest sooo much! That being said, I have several fellas following my metal detecting board on Pinterest and when I've gone to their boards to check out their interest in detecting, they're usually very make oriented posts ,like muscle cars and girls with um...big assets and anyway,what does it matter if your friend has a Pinterest account? yeah seems like whoever said that about your friend has some homophobic issues.

Knitting people and crochet people are definitely two different types. Crochet people tend to think they are a bit more sophisticated than knitting people. You can pick up a knit sweater at a yard sale for next to nothing but crochet apparel can get a bit pricey. I'm not really an expert on crochet but if people are into all those rainbow colors more power to them. As long as they pick up their wire loops and and don't leave too many divots in the park from their mallets I can get along with them.

I am VERY sophisticated and yes I used to crochet... UNTIL, I watched my then girlfriend (beautiful lady) swat at a cat and impale a crochet needle into her palm deep. She never yelled or went off "the deep end". We could not get it back out but the end was very close to the skin on the other side of hand. So she say's "Get a razor blade, cut me and pull it though". Holy S***. We were watching the Super Bowl in S.W. MI. at the time (2ft. snow). I had the personal # of the area small town Dr. I called and we drove the 4 miles to his office. He DID cut her hand and pull the needle through. She told the Doc I didn't have the nuggets to cut her and pull it through. No wonder most men cannot ever win.... GO FIGURE!!!!!

I am now NOT sophisticated... and build toy boxes.

My Nephew planned his wedding and got all his ideas for it there. We all ended up at a resort in the Keyes. Good site with lots of information. Just like here. I would say your friend is immature and misinformed. You can tell him I said that haha
