Was glad to have been able to get out with my pop today! We don't get chance to do much anymore!Gotta say he still gets around good for his age! :headbang:Anyway here is what I found today and need help on one of them. :dontknow:The thing with the star shape design I don't know what it is and need help with it.It seems to be in crusted in iron on the back but is shaped like a coin or token. Also found a array of things today so the pics. will tell the story. Almost thought I had me another bottle also. :hello:

your finding some of the best finds posted from North Carolina, for that matter probably some of the earliest colonial american stuff on TNET!

you know that right?
Earliest I don't know about that, but do know I like looking for the colonial stuff. Those people put a lot of time into every thing they did.I admire that I guess. Far from the crap that is made today. And the way they had to live was unbelievable.I like to think now and then what some of these people now and days would last like if sent back 200 hundred years or so in time.Where's my TV,Where's my CELL PHONE,Where's the HOT WATER,WHERE's the MOSQUITO SPRAY,Where's the AIR CONDITIONER.etc.Also it is alot different neighbor wise too, everybody back then knew one another and helped each other out.Now days You could live in the same place for years and never know your own neighbor.I guess we've come a long way in some ways but have lost out in others.
