Primary Interest:
Relic Hunting
With the bad weather since Christmas, we have had few days to hunt this winter. As of late, I have hunted old home sites with Dman (Doug) and Tenn. Digger. Anyone who knows me well will quickly tell you that I'd rather be in a field or woods hunting CW relics than hunting old houses although I do enjoy hunting with friends. We all made a good find or two at the early 1800s sites and some were Civil War relics.
With 70 deg. predicted and Doug and Josh both working today, I traveled to a site with my enhanced F75 to try it out where we had dug a few relics previously and I dug the 2 dropped Big Boy .69s and three .58s. Feeling the heavy bullets in my hand as I moved a handful of dirt under the coil really felt good for the 2 hours I was out. Hope everyone can get out soon. HH, Q.

Nice! Congrats! Good looking lead!

Snow is melting down by half, but the ground is rock hard still!

Way to go on the bullets. I hope we find some good stuff on Wednesday.

WTG Quindy and yes sirs, good luck on Wednesday. Glad to know Donnie is feeling better.

Beautiful old lead Mr. Q. I'd take those over a seated, even though I haven't found a seated yet, lol.

congrats on the bullets... I hope to get out and dig a few soon with my upgraded F75 in W. Tn

Congrats on the fresh lead Quindy How are you liking your enhanced F75? I got mine back but it wouldn't ground balance, so it had to go back to First Texas again. It is due back tomorrow.

I like the fatties Quindy. They do have a heft to them and feel good in the hand. Glad you got out.

Love it Steve. It's faster, quieter, and seems to have better separation than before even in all metal. You will like it my friwnd!! HH, Q.

Nice job Quindy. Congrats on the beautiful CW lead. As you know, I've been dying to dig another 3-ringer. They avoid me like super models. :tongue3:

You need to give those to Dman to restock his inventory in his store. I heard he sold out of those .58 cent and .69 cent bullets pretty quick. :laughing7:
Well done Q,
Doug

Hi Quindy Those were mean and I pity the poor souls on the receiving end of one of those big boyz . Bad news even with body armor which no one had back then , as you already know.

:icon_scratch: Have a good one Q

:skullflag: dawg
