Haven't been out all that much in the last couple months. Today I was able to get out to a 1890's build home with my hunting buddy and we found a few things including my 1st Barber coin after 1 year of swingin. It is a well worn 1910 Barber, an old lock, and a 1931 dog license. Only pulled a few coins from this property, very noisy and filled with iron.

I am happy with just getting my membership into the Barber Club....Only took a year LOL

I took almost 2 months off during the summer, so I was able to be around a lot more. Now that I am working full time again, not so much. Thanks for thinking about me though ;D ;D ;D

That is a nice dime. It looks a lot like my first one. I will always remember that. They sure do look bee-yoo-tee-ful that first time.

Yes they do! Our aggrement with the home owner was to turn over all the finds to her but she let us keep everything. I was very happy about keeping my first Barber ;D It's not often that we offer to give over our finds, but this lady has connections to every turn of the century farm houses in the county pretty much (President of Local Garange). So we were taking one for the team in order to secure a few more sites. Did I mention I am glad about being able to keep my Barber LOL.

A year huh? I have been digging hard for 5 months and oldest coin is a 1943 washington quarter, I did find a Grover Cleveland "Man of Destiny" copper or brass token/coin dated 1889 though.

Congratulations, I also need to find a spot where there is potential for older stuff.

Congrats Stormtrooper! One down 99+ to go!! WTG Bootstrap

Welcome to the club. It took me about a year as well. Got mine about 3 weeks ago.

Tons of small towns all over the place. Your parks are still kicking out lots of good finds.

Totally! You should come down here some time and see what you can find ~ there's plenty to go around!
