I think I need a barber or two.

Got these two barber dimes at a permission I have it’s a 1910 built house on Spirit Lake in Idaho , so cool I have been detecting for 15-20 years and only have two barbers in my collection and today I got two 1907s ,1911s, also a v nickel 1911 , Which now I have only found three in my lifetime.so great day . living most of my life in San Diego going metal detecting was always easy and plentiful at the beaches. Kind of stayed out of the parks and relic site. No need. It is definitely a lot harder to find good stuff when there’s no beach for 1400 miles. But I am learning and it’s a lot of fun.

Interesting how your definition of "good stuff" morphs when you change locations!

lol yep ,I found 6000.00 worth of gold ,rings, pendant, necklaces, etc., on the beach in San Diego in one summer “good stuff”, I just need to find one of them mason jars full of silver Morgan dollars up here. Maybe that’ll be good stuff. A lot of Chinese railroad camps. I’m gonna try to get into might get a 10 of morphine who knows. in the old days I would go to San Diego find a couple rings cash in and get $400 go and buy the WS6 for my metal detector. It’s gonna take a little while longer up here.

WOW, $6,000! I was beside myself just finding a 1774 2 Reales & 16 LCs at one site earlier this year. Maybe you should try gold panning/prospecting also.
