got myself in trouble yesterday.......

lol, k well first off, i "kinda" snuck off to go into the desert yesterday morning for a few hours. so i am out there walking around and came across this paper thin "Desert Delta"? with a tip nick, that was possibly repaired and transparent. even tho these are not that old, i love seeing them out there, they are so delicatly worked, and so thin. so i decide to start back, and this RING catches my eye, a very large mens gold ring with diamonds sitting on a dune, in the freaking middle of nowhere....... so im like WTF, and OMG and lol, well i get my camera first cause its unbelieveable, middle of desert, dont forget....... i bend down to look at the band and i see 14 or 16k. i was like whoo hoo, i call my wife right away, and i said, hey i have to confess, i snuck off into the desert this morning but guess what i just found.......... lol, she was asking me about it and i said i didnt even pick it up yet, i told her gold is a 1000 a oz. she told me to grab it and i said k, soon as a picked it up, i yelled son of a *****. It was way too light, crap, i just got myself in trouble 4 nothing, fake stamped gold she took it well and didnt get upset, we got the stones checked and they are fake too. sheesh, if you lose a ring like that in the middle of nowhere, make sure its a REAL treasure for the next person who finds it, K!!!!!!!!!!!!

thanks, yeah thats one reason i love desert hunting, the timelines go from paleo to modern, such a assortment of different things, kind of like fishing in the sea vs a lake
