Got Rain?

Dang we are getting the rain this yr. Last week we got 4-5 inches and this week they say the same. Going to be raining Sat- Mon here. I would guess we are out of our drought now. I like to boat on the river and you cant see the rocks when the water is muddy. Anyone else getting wet?

Plenty of clouds & rain here too in S.W. Ga. But it's finally clear today and perhaps I can get out and look for a while this afternoon.

NEED RAIN. Bad.

First time in a llllooooonnnngggg time fields have been plowed and barely any rain to help with hunting. My husband plows and waits a little longer than most to disc and plant so I can hunt. No rain between plow and plant this year. Boo.

Other than hunting, now I have planted 200 lbs of potatoes and a couple acres of corn on remote land. Rain means we don't have to pump water from the creek...and that's a lot of work for that much of an area. Creeks low too, so we have to build dams and dig a bit to get a good enough hole to water with.

April and may are typically pretty wet here so it's unusual.

I'm in the same boat Rock...actually, if it keeps going like this, I may need a boat...I wish we could save some of this rain for July and August when my garden and yard needs it....no hunting here anytime soon.

Is it suppose to rain really? I thought the forecasters were callin for heavy rain here. It's barely been a sprinkle today, but it has been a lil cooler than normal. Not sure yet if we are suppose to get it yet or not.

Rained this morning and stopped around 1 pm for my lunch. I ate outside a nice breeze and it was sunny. I got off at 5 just in time to see it down pour with a mix of hail. Lasted 5 mins then turned sunny again

This weather has been wishy-washy for sure. I believe it just now put down a lil shower. I did manage to take a short walk and found a possible quartz knife or a crude blade. Not sure if it's anything at all, but I think there has been some human alteration. I did find it in the area where I found a worn out Hardaway, a broken eccentric stem and some other materials. I hope this weather clears on out, cuz I don't want it to put a damper on my outdoor activities this week.

I hear ya on the outdoors. The rain is just making the grass grow faster where I hunt at. As soon as I cant hunt that area I will turn to water sports till the fall.

Great news you finally are getting some rain. We ought to be able to see some finds soon.
