Great few hunts, 2 cent!!!

Had a blast hunting with some friends on Saterday!!! It was so much fun!!!! Yesterday I found the 2 center piece. I thought it was a nickel until getting pictures today. I haven't cleaned it and could use a little help. New to these strange coins Happy Hunting this summer, darn fire is right next to me, High Park fire in Colorado) but it's heading northish so I don't have to worry.

I'll give it a go, I appreciate the help. I have a bunch of different ones that it would be nice to id. This one almost seems a different type of metal, but it could just be me.

Oh they indeed made coins of different metals.

It was sure a great weekend, we were dumped on with snow since then, it's melting finally!

diggingthe1, You got a nice coin. Wish I'd never heard the words steel wool and shine though. Generally, you never use an abrasive, even on coins dug up. And having a shine on such a coin actually isn't something you want. Keeping the natural patina , most of the time looks nicer.

But you gotta do what makes You happy. Good luck finding another deuce to go with that one.
