As TnT2000 and MarkGPa already said, We had a great time hunting a new site that TnT got permission to hunt. I took a few pictures of the hunting conditions through the briars and heavily wooded areas that we detected.
It was almost funny to hear the screams comming out of the brush when someone got caught up in the stickers, including a few screams of my own.
There were some better sounding screams when someone pulled a large copper out of the dirt.
Although it was tough hunting, we all had a great time, and thank you to TnT and his family for there hospitality.
Here are some pics of the conditions. I got a picture of TnT, MarkG, and JohnnyMc as we were ready to leave hoping for one more find on the way back to the truck.
I was able to manage 15 musket balls, a 1904 IH (bad shape), and an 1801 Large cent that is worn but still can see the date, and 4 buttons. 2 have no markings and 1 has what I believe is a star on it and the small one has a backmark but I cant make out the letters. I also got a flat piece of lead which may be a skirt weight.
Thanks for looking
Ken

Were any of the finds from the thick areas or all from the fields?
nice digs! always wondered how to hunt the thick!!!
You gotta be willing to go where the OTHER guy hasn't or wont! That is where you will find the GOOD stuff!
