Great Shape Buffalo Nick found in my Change fro CVS

I normally don't post something like this on here, most people don't care.

But I've never actually gotten anything good back in my change before, so i had to share this.

Plus its probally the best one I own to date now.

Got it back from the Self Checkout at CVS in Chicago

I've gotten two silver Washingtons and one war nickel in the last year as change. I can always tell by the sound they make. They make a much different high pitched clinking sound than the modern coins. As soon as I hear it I know it's coming.

Fine Buffalo! In 3 years detecting, I still haven't dug a Buffalo nickel, one of my fave coins ever since I was a kid in the forties. But since my son has dug Buffaloes, Indians, seated & walking liberties in the same areas we both detect in, I know there's a Buffalo waiting for me! Have Fun! Andi

That buff nickel is in great shape probably from someone's collection and got put back in circulation.
Congrats nice surprise! I love when you get "more" back in your change! Doesn't happen often !

A while back I got a $1 franc in my change as a quarter! Love when that happens!

I have noticed that ever since I started detecting a few months ago I ALWAYS look at my change, or the change in my wife's car, etc. That is where I actually found the dateless standing liberty quarter that I have been using in my test garden. I started freakin out asking her where she got it, she couldn't remember. She said it looked funny so she didn't put it in her purse where it would be lost for all of eternity. I have yet to find silver in the ground and I find a freakin SLQ in the center console of my wife's car?!?!?! Jeez....
