I received my new Bounty Hunter Time Ranger yesterday. Took it out near the house this morning to learn how to use the controls on it. There is an area that likely has been used as a swimming hole since the 1830's or so. I found a fishing lure, some 22 brass, a marble size wad of lead that looks like it has tooth marks in it from someone chewing on it and an assortment of other junk.

I got a good strong signal on this, just didn't believe it was anything other than a piece of aluminum can. The Time Ranger told me it was a $.50 piece but I didn't buy into it, to my sorrow. I put a nice scratch on the back of it with my probe.

I think the Time Ranger is a keeper. Don't know about the operator though. :-\
